Myriad of Colours

Rocca Al Mare is very colourful. It represents hundreds of different brands. It has virtually any cuisines from over the world. Rocca Al Mare is a shopping mall but a lot more too. It is entertainment. The spot was shot on one location, which seems to be many. That is because of Rocca Al Mare’s thousand faces. And also because the young and talented director, Andzei Matsukevits uses the mall as film sets, which vary from ski resort to tropical jungle, Londonstreets to Arabian markets.

Meanwhile in Budapest

Meanwhile in Budapest is the first full-length feature film produced by AZT-Media. The anthology movie created by undergraduate directors of the Hungarian Film Academy takes place in the capitol of Hungary. The movie tells different short stories about the life and the people of Budapest through the lens of the young talents’ cameras. In the film one can explore the city from the view of these young directors. The shooting of the eight segments took well known locations and also typical Hungarian places. The atmosphere of the movie shows how the directors would describe life in Budapest within their personal vision. The shooting was an extended teamwork with groups of DOPs, editors and actors in co-production with Proton Cinema, along with producer Júlia Berkes. The enterprise was a great challenge for everyone, thus after the transformation of the previous film funding system only very few productions were supported in the country after 2010. The production was carried out with the collaboration of helping hands (film professionals, actors and actresses, crew members, stunt teams, etc.) from different fields of the Hungarian film industry. The film was released in theaters in early March, which debut made Meanwhile of Budapest 2013’s first Hungarian movie.
